This is a French watch stand made in the form of a casket. The casket has a wire mount with claw setting and holds panels of bevelled glass on the front, top and each side. The stand has four feet. Inside the stand it is lined with pale silk (which is very threadbare and worn) and has a hook to hold a watch in place. The stand measures 8cm high x 6cm long x 6cm wide. The stand is in 80% mint condition – quite a bit of wear and tear and also very faded fabric.
