In over 30 years of dealing with pocket watches and pocket watch accessories, it still delights me that I can see something new. This fob came from an esteemed collection of watch fobs and is a French porcelain scent bottle in miniature which would have hung on a chatelaine.
The scent bottle has a screw off cap with a suspension loop.
The gourd shaped body has a curved back and front and the neck has scalloped detailing and gold enamel trim.
One side is decorated with a finely detailed pastoral scene. The other side is in delicate yellow enamel with a leaf motif with the word “Fidelite”
The scent bottle fob measures 38mm x 22mm x 11mm and is in 95% mint condition
