This is not a pocket watch but a timer. It does not tell the time, it records the time and has a split seconds function, also known as a rattrapante
This timer comes from the famous watch house of Breguet and is also unusual due to the size and duration of the register on the dial
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has exposed steel work for the start, stop, fly back and reset split seconds chronograph function with a 60 minute register. The movement is numbered 733049 and is in 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a large chromed open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and snap on bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is numbered on the back 1170. The case is in 90% mint condition – light surface scratches only, overall a superb case
Dial – the white ceramic dial has two blue steel split seconds hands and a large blue steel register hand on the 60 minute register in the centre of the dial. The dial is signed “Breguet” and is in 100% mint condition.
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 65mm wide x 23mm deep
The watch is stem wound.
