This is not a pocket watch, this is a timer only and was used in U Boats by the Kriegsmarine for timing torpedoes. This is a very rare example made by Zenith.
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a start, stop, fly back and reset 30 second timer with a 15 minute register. The movement is signed “Swiss Made” and is in 95% mint condition
Case – the white metal case has a hinged back and a snap on bezel. The case is stamped on the back with the Kriegsmarine mark plus Nr 5440. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – light marks only
Dial – the white enamel dial has a blue steel sweep centre second hand and a register. The dial is signed “Zenith” and is in 90% mint condition – some scratched marks above the signature
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 48mm wide x 13mm deep
