This is a Swiss watch made for Thomas Russell & Sons where it was retailed and sold in the UK.
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and exposed steel work for the chronograph - the movement has a start, stop and fly back chronograph function. The movement is in 90% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a heavy Sterling silver hunter case which has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The front cover does not pop open to 90 degrees when you press the winder in, instead it needs to be lifted open manually. The case has gold hinges and a smooth plain finish and is in 85% mint condition – there are some little dings on the front cover
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands with a centre blue steel chronograph hand and is signed “T R Russell’s Keyless Lever Chronograph” The dial is in 90% mint condition – there is a small hairline on the 5 and a scratch on the 10-11
