This is a Swiss pocket watch made by Moeris circa 1900
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and exposed steel work for a start, stop, fly back and reset chronograph function with a 30 minute register. The movement is signed “Moeris, Swiss Made” and is in 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a gun metal open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and snap on bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition – a superb blue gun metal case which still retains its blue finish which is rare to see on these watches
Dial – the white enamel has a pair of gilt hands and a blue steel centre seconds hand, sub seconds hand and pointer. The dial has a 30 minute register under the 12 and the dial is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a synthetic glass
The watch measures 50mm wide x 17mm deep
The watch is stem wound / pin set.
