This is an English silver compass with clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1900
The fob is decorated on the back with a glazed image of an enamel boat on a gilt metal background. The fob has a suspension loop with an anchor bar and measures 27mm x 20mm x 8mm and is in 80% mint condition – the glass covering the enamel scene is scratched and there is a small hole on the silver shank.
