This is an English silver Vinaigrette, with clear maker's marks for JF The Vinaigrette has a hinged lid and a hinged inner grill with pierced work and engraved flowers and leaves The vinaigrette has a light gilt finish inside The vinaigrette has scalloped edges and carved sides with engine turning on the back and front. The front has a small initialled cartouche and also a suspension loop so that it can be attached to a watch chain or chatelaine The vinaigrette measures 26mm long x 18mm wide x 6mm deep The vinaigrette is in 95% mint condition – light wear only.
