This is an English silver Vinaigrette, with clear maker's marks for SP The Vinaigrette is in the shape of a book and has a hinged lid and a hinged inner grill with pierced work and engraved flowers and leaves The vinaigrette has a gilt finish inside The vinaigrette engraved detailing back and front with initials on the front cover and also a suspension loop so that it can be attached to a watch chain or chatelaine The vinaigrette still has its original sponge The vinaigrette measures 27mm long x 21m wide x 8mm deep The vinaigrette is in 90% mint condition – light signs of wear.
