This English outer case has no hallmarks but has been tested and is sold as silver. It is for a verge 1770 - 1790
The case has a good hinge but the clasp and button are missing and so will not close
It has a smooth plain finish on the back with faint engraved initials.
External measurements are 47.7mm x 17mm with an inner width of 40mm
The case is in 80% mint condition – general wear and no clasp or button
