This movement has come from a small collection, where the original owner liked to display his movements and added a watch bow. This can easily be removed but is a nice useful addition
This verge movement has a good chain but the balance will not swing, it does move when pressure is applied to the escape wheel. It will tick for a few beats dial up.
Movement – the gilt full plate verge movement has a pierced and engraved watch cock and is signed “Jer Giscard, Ely” 163. The movement is in 90% mint condition – a few light marks
Dial – the white enamel dial has a half hunter style layout, gilt hands and is in 99% mint condition – there is a stubborn sticker mark
The movement measures 47mm x 14.9mm
