This watch has a broken verge crown wheel – this is in pieces. The chain is intact, the balance is broken and the whole piece has rust or aged dirt encasing the movement. The movement sits on a much larger dial plate -probably used as a small clock.
The movement as no hour or minute wheels (motion work)
Movement – the deep gilt, full plate verge movement has a large pierced winged cock decorated with piercing and a silver regulator disc. The movement also has large Egyptian style pillars and is signed Jas Brener, Darlestone. The movement is not in good condition but is a hard to come by piece
The movement measures 40mm wide x 17mm deep. The large dial plate measures 74.50mm wide
