The movement is key wound / key set
The movement has a good balance and chain and will tick
Movement – the gilt full plate fusee movement has a lever escapement. It has large “Liverpool window” jewels and a steel 3 arm balance plus a diamond endstone. The movement also has a stop start lever which is jammed and the tip of the lever has broken off
The movement has a watch cock with raised floral motifs and is signed “Patent”. The movement is signed “R H Sagar, Blackburn, 2042” and is in 95% mint condition – apart from the tip on the stop / start lever, a very clean movement
The movement has its original gilt dust cap
Dial – the off white enamel dial has a pair of blue steel hands but no sub seconds hand. The dial is in 95% mint condition – two small hairlines near the 3
The movement measures 45mm wide x 10mm deep
