English fusee pocket watch movement by McCabe, London c1850

This is a Victorian fusee pocket watch movement.

The movement has a good chain but the balance is broken

Movement – the gilt ¾ plate fusee movement has a lever escapement and a compensated balance. The movement is signed “Jas McCabe, Royal Exchange, London, 15586” and is in 90% mint condition – light scratches plus please note the balance is broken

Dial – the white enamel dial has a sub seconds dial, no hands and is signed “Jas McCabe, London, 15586”. The dial is in 99% mint condition

The movement measures 41mm x 7mm
