Keyless half hunter pocket watch movement by DENT c1880

This pocket watch has a good spring and balance and will tick.

This is a half hunter, stem wound / pin set movement – does not come with a winder

Movement – gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement with a compensated balance. The movement is jewelled throughout and is signed “Dent, Watchmaker to the Queen, 33 Cockspur St, London, No 30810”. The movement is in 99% mint condition – a superb example

Dial – the white enamel dial has a pair of blue steel half hunter hands (No sub seconds). The dial is signed “Dent, 33 Cockspur St, London” and is in 90% mint condition – a forked hairlie cluster below the sub seconds

The movement measures 42.3mm wide x 8mm deep
