Fusee pocket watch movement by Henry Frodsham, Liverpool c1835

This is an English fusee pocket watch movement by Henry Frodsham, Liverpool.

The movement has a good chain and balance and will tick for a few beats and then stop – overhaul required

Movement – the gilt ¾ plate fusee movement has lever escapement. The movement is signed “Henry Frodsham, Liverpool, No 2520”. The movement is in 85% mint condition –some light scratches only, otherwise in superb condition

The movement has its original gilt hinged and sprung dust cap.

Dial – off white dial has gilt hands but is lacking the minute hand. The dial is signed “Henry Frodsham, Liverpool” but is crazed with hairline cracks

The movement measures 41mm x 7.7mm
