This is an English verge fusee pocket watch movement
The movement has a no chain and a good balance staff but lacking hairspring – it is not working
Movement – the gilt full plate verge fusee movement has a silver regulator disc and a pierced watch cock decorated with an engraved fruit basket. The movement is signed “Jn Jones, London 8977” and is in 90% mint condition – small marks
Dial – the white enamel dial is not original to the movement. It is badly fitted on the later dial plate. The dial has no hands and is in 95% mint condition
The movement measures 43mm wide x 14mm deep
