This is a Swiss pocket watch movement which was sent to England where it was cased and sold
The English silver case has hallmarks for Birmingham 1946
Movement – this nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “15 Jewels, Swiss Made”. It is in 85% mint condition – some marks on the movement
Case – the movement comes in an English silver open face case by Dennison which has a hinged inner, back and bezel. The case has coin edge sides and engine turning on the back with a vacant crest. The case is in 95% condition – a very crisp silver case
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Swiss Made”. The dial is in 98% mint condition – a tiny chip on the edge of the dial completely hidden by the bezel
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 50mm wide x 16mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
