This watch has a fusee chain driven movement. These types of movements are extremely fragile and it is very easy to break the fusee chain if you have never handled one of these watches before and so consequently we do not cover this costly repair in the warranty.
This pocket watch has clear English silver hallmarks for Chester 1889
Movement – the gilt full plate fusee movement has a lever escapement with a three arm gold balance. The movement is signed “W Adams & Co, West Bromwich” 10040 and is in 95% mint condition – superb condition. The movement has its original gilt dust cap.
Case – the movement comes in a silver open face case, which has a hinged back and bezel. The watch is wound from the back and set from the front and swings out from the front also. The case has coin edged sides and engine turning and is in 95% mint condition – superb condition
Dial – the white enamel dial has a beautiful pair of gold hands and a blue steel sub seconds hand. The dial is in 99% mint condition
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 50mm wide x 18mm deep
