This pocket watch has a fusee chain, which are very delicate and easy to break and costly to repair. A typical repair on a fusee chain is in excess of £200. Therefore this watch is sold with no warranty and if broken, damaged or stops working cannot be repaired at no cost. Please bear this is mind.

Movement – the gilt full plate fusee movement has a lever escapement, a diamond endstone and a watch cock with bright cut floral engraving. The movement is signed “Mich Hetsby, Wigan, 5044” and is in 90% mint condition

The movement has its original dust cap – this does have a hand engraved pattern on the inside of the cap

Case – the movement comes in an English silver open face case, which has a hinged back and bezel. The watch is wound from the back and set from the front and swings out from the front also. The case has gold hinges and a vacant crest on the back. The case is in 85% mint condition – some wear but still in superb condition

Dial – the white enamel dial has a flush sub seconds dial with a blue steel hand and the dial has a pair of gilt hour and minute hands. The dial is in 99% mint condition

The watch has a mineral glass

The watch measures 51mm wide x 17mm deep

The watch is key wound / key set and comes with a key
