This is a Swiss pocket watch movement which was sent to the UK where it was cased and sold. It comes in an English silver case with clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1936
Movement – the good quality nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement and a micrometer regulator. The movement is signed “17 Jewels, Swiss Made” and is in 80% mint condition – many marks and scratches
Case – the movement comes in a good quality English silver Dennison open face case which has a hinged inner, back and bezel. The case has coin edged sides, engine turning and a vacant cartouche. The case is in 95% mint condition – super clean condition
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands. The dial is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a bevelled mineral glass.
The watch measures 50mm x 16mm.
The watch is stem wound / stem set
