Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement with a compensated balance. The movement is signed “Jos’h Penlington, Liverpool, No 15639 and is in 90% mint condition – 1 scratch along the movement.
Case – the movement comes in an English silver open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and snap on bezel. The quality and heavy case is numbered 15639 with case makers initials GJT. The case has a monogram on the back and is in 75% mint condition – 1 deep ding on the back and the back cover rests shut, it does not form a close seal – the wear in the case is reflected in the price
Dial – the white enamel dial has a pair of gold hands and a blue steel sub seconds hand. The dial is signed “Jos’h Penlington, Liverpool, 15639” and is in 99% mint condition
The watch has a bevelled mineral glass
The watch is stem wound / pin set
The watch measures 53mm wide x 14mm deep
