This is an English silver pocket watch which has clear hallmarks for London 1843

The watch has a good balance and chain and the watch is running just not keeping very good time
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate fusee movement has a Duplex escapement and is signed “Ross, Exeter, No 609. The movement is in 85% mint condition – a scratch across the plate
Case – the movement comes in an English silver case, which has a snap on bezel, hinged back and inner cover.
The watch is wound and set from the back. If you remove the bezel, the movement will hinge out from the case at a hinge at the 12 position
The case is decorated with coin edged sides, engine turning and a cartouche with a W on the back. The case is in 95% mint condition – super crisp condition
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands. The dial is signed “John Parrish, 30 Paris St, Exeter” and is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 43mm wide x 13mm deep
The watch is key wound / key set and comes with a key
