This is an English silver pocket watch which has Chester hallmarks for 1889

This watch is running and keeping time however the second hand is slightly bent and can snag on the hour hand and causes it to stop It has not been cleaned or serviced and is sold with NO Warranty

Movement – the gilt full plate lever movement is fusee driven. The movement is in 95% mint condition – a superb example

The watch has its original dust cap

Case – the movement comes in an English silver open face case, which has a hinged back and bezel. The watch is wound from the back, set from the front and the movement is accessed from the front also. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – light wear on most of the case but there is a dent on the side

Dial – the white enamel dial has gilt hands and a blue steel sub seconds hand. The dial is in 99% mint condition – numerous hairlines

The watch has a mineral glass

The watch measures 53mm wide x 20mm deep
