The watch has a BROKEN balance and a good spring. The watch is NOT working. The watch has NOT been cleaned or serviced and is sold with no warranty or guarantee.
Movement – the gilt full plate going barrel movement has a lever escapement. It is signed “Stewart, Dawson, Liverpool”, and is in 75% mint condition – a broken balance and stain.
Comes with a gilt dust cap.
Case – the movement comes in a silver case which has hallmarks for Birmingham 1894
The case has a hinged back and bezel. The watch is wound from the back, set from the front and swings out from the front also. The case is in 70% mint condition – numerous dings and dents and
Dial – the white enamel dial has gilt and blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Stewart Dawson & Co, Liverpool” and is in 95% mint condition – a little hairline under the 6
