This is a silver pair cased with verge with clear hallmarks for London 1865
The movement has a good balance and chain and the watch will tick
Movement – the gilt full plate verge movement has a superbly pierced watch cock, a ruby endstone within a blue steel setting. The movement is signed Thos Nickalls Reigate, 4670 and is in 90% mint condition – a clean looking movement.
Inner case – the silver inner case has a hinged bezel and the watch is wound from the back and is set from the front and swings out from the front also. The case has a god stem and bow. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – a light groove from the outer
Outer case – the original and matching case also has a smooth plain finish and is in 75% mint condition – many small but deep bruises around the edges and some light bruises on the back
Dial – the white enamel dial has a pair of gilt hands, it is in 80% mint condition – several hairlines
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 55mm wide x 20mm deep
The watch is key wound / key set and comes with a key
