This watch has a good chain and balance but the pivots must be bent as the balance swings only two or three times then stops
Movement – the gilt fusee movement has been converted into a lever escapement. The movement has a superb pierced watch cock with a diamond endstone, a pierced top plate and a silvered regulator disc. The movement is signed “Edward Prior, London, 80195”. The movement is in 99% mint condition – superb condition
Inner case – the movement comes in a silver inner case, which has clear hallmarks and is numbered 185. The case has its original stem and bow. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition – superb condition
Middle case - the case is decorated with bright cut engraving with a letter P on the back. The case is in pristine almost unused condition.
Outer case – this is a horn case on silver. The horn is held in place by pins. The case is intact with its original silver collar, bow and all pins remaining. The case is in 99% mint condition – light surface scratches only. This is very unusual to find the outer in such superb condition
Dial – the white enamel dial has its original pair of steel beetle and poker hands. The dial is signed “Edward Prior” and is in 95% mint condition – a chip on the edge of the dial caused by the tight bezel

The watch is key wound / key set and comes with a key
The watch measures 55mm wide x 30mm deep
