This is a low grade silver chain. What does that mean? Most silver chains we sell are English silver with clear hallmarks on every link. We also sell fancier chains which may be stamped Sterling. This chain has no silver marks. So we test it with acid for its purity and in this case get a low testing. So the silver content in the chain did not have enough to earn some sort of stamp. The chain is still an antique silver chain but the low grade purity is represented in the price.
This stylish chain would be a good alternative to more traditional chains.
The chain has a T bar at one end and a dog clip at the other. The chain is made up of a length of graduated oversized curb links with the largest measuring 17mm x 13mm. The chain measures 380mm in length and is in 95% mint condition
