This watch chain is made from woven hair, which was a common practice in Victorian times, either as a sweetheart piece or to remember a lost love. The chain has a gilt T bar and a gold plated slide and mounts. The chain measures 380mm from the T bar to the dog clip and is in 95% mint condition – a good example of what is not everyone’s cup of tea!
