This is very much in the late Victorian style of mourning jewellery and is made from Whitby Jet a particular black polished stone used to great effect in this field.
The chain measures 120mm from the dog clip to the ball at the other end.
The chain has the older screw down style dog clip.
The chain is made up of a large ball engraved with lines and stars. And three other smaller balls and two oval links again engraved with stars. The jet has a matt finish and the chain is in 100% mint condition
