This is seal was designed to be used with hot wax for sealing letters.
I have made an impression of this seal using hot wax to show that the seal works as intended and also to give a clearer image of the intaglio.
The wax impression comes in a small plastic case and is included with the seal.

This is a wonderful piece.
It is a tiny fob made of striped agate held in a gold mount. The little stone has an intaglio on one side of a greyhound and the word “Darling”
On the other side is a chalice and the words “A Votre Sante et Honheur” – to your health and honour”
The fob comes with a small gold suspension loop
The fob measures 17mm x 10mm x 3mm – this is tiny – and is in 95% mint condition
