This is seal was designed to be used with hot wax for sealing letters.
I have made an impression of this seal using hot wax to show that the seal works as intended and also to give a clearer image of the intaglio.
The wax impression comes in a small plastic case and is included with the seal.
This is a gold framed stone converted from a seal into a fob. The fob has no assay marks but is 15K – 18K and is sold with our 100% guarantee to that effect.
This is an intaglio purchased on a Grand Tour in the 1800s and housed in a gold seal but the handle has been removed and now is just in the base which frames the seal. It has a suspension loop on one side
The fob measures 20mm x 16mm x 3mm
The fob is in good condition but the frame shows evidence of wear the rest of the gold seal handle would have been
