This is seal was designed to be used with hot wax for sealing letters.
I have made an impression of this seal using hot wax to show that the seal works as intended and also to give a clearer image of the intaglio.
The wax impression comes in a small plastic case and is included with the seal.
This is a gold seal which has a solid gold handle, base and suspension loop. The seal has no assay marks but is 15K – 18K and is sold with our 100% guarantee to that effect.
This is a lovely piece with a carved base set with an amethyst stone.
This is carved with an intaglio of the side profile of a person, presumably the sender of the letter!
The seal has an ornately carved base and handle with flowers and swags.
The seal measures 18mm x 11mm x 10mm and is in 100% crisp mint condition – a lovely little seal
