This is seal was designed to be used with hot wax for sealing letters.
I have made an impression of this seal using hot wax to show that the seal works as intended and also to give a clearer image of the intaglio.
The wax impression comes in a small plastic case and is included with the seal.
This is a gold seal which has a solid gold handle, gold on metal base and a gold suspension loop. The seal has no assay marks but is 15K – 18K and is sold with our 100% guarantee to that effect.
This is a very small seal but is if exceptional quality and much heavier than usual for such a small piece

The seal has an ornate carved base with a ribbed finish and a carved handle with a suspension loop.
The seal measures 18mm x 10mm x 9mm and is in 95% crisp mint condition – superb condition and quality.
