This is a gilt metal seal made circa 1850
The seal has a rectangular base set with a red hardstone.
The seal has a carved base and a carved strut handle terminating in a suspension loop.
The seal measures 33mm high x 22mm x 20mm on the base.
The seal is in 75% mint condition – the gilding has mostly worn away making parts dull and brassy but this is reflected in the price
