This is a gilt metal seal made circa 1850
The seal has a rectangular base set with a white hardstone.
The seal has a carved base and a carved strut handle terminating in a suspension loop.
The seal measures 25mm high x 12mm x 10mm on the base.
The seal is in 75% mint condition – the gilding has worn away in places with some green patina to but this is reflected in the price
