This is a beautiful ladies pendant want in lovely condition and top quality.
It has its original brooch / pin and box
It was made in Switzerland circa 1900 and sent to England. It has London import marks for 1909 and clear assay marks for 15K gold
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a ladies fob watch case, which has a hinged back and a snap on bezel.
The inside of the back cover is stamped stamped 15K (625) and also FFS
The case is decorated on the back with blue guilloche enamel and a white enamel border. The bezel is also decorated with blue enamel and the case is in 99% mint condition – the original un restored enamel has a few small marks and scratches which you expect to find with original unrestored enamel.
Dial – the white enamel dial has blue enamel numbers, gilt hands and is in 95% mint condition – a very faint hairline in the centre
The watch is stem wound / pin set
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 27mm wide. The watch measures 35mm long inc winder and when hanging on the pendant, it measures 42mm long
Brooch / pin – this is the original brooch which accompanied the watch allowing it to be worn as a piece of jewellery. It can of course be removed from the brooch and be worn as a pendant. The brooch is stamped 14K and decorated with the same blue guilloche enamel.
The brooch is in the form of a ribbon
The brooch measures 43mm wide and is in 100% mint condition
The watch and brooch come in there original green velvet box with double doors and a strut on the back
