This is a beautiful gilt Georgian pocket watch key with a Georgian carved split ring and additional Victorian pocket watch key. The combo would make an interesting pendant.
The Georgian pocket watch key has an oval shank decorated with crisp raised detailing. It has a suspension loop and a gilt winding pipe – a size 2-3. The key measures 37mm x 14mm x 2mm and is in 90% mint condition – tarnish on the gilding on the pipe and suspension loop.
The gilt Victorian pocket watch key has a club shaped body with raised detailing. A suspension loop and a steel winding pipe – a size 2-3. The key measures 31mm x 11mm x 2mm and is in 95% mint condition
They both come on a gilt split ring, decorated with floral carving. The split ring measures 25mm wide x 1.8mm thick and is in 90% mint condition – the gilding is rubbed in places
