This is a solid 18K gold pocket watch chain which has clear French eagle touche marks for 18K gold and also marks for 18K gold
The chain measures 240mm in length from end to end not including the key
The chain weighs in total 15g
The chain has two lengths of fine mesh links held in place with round balls decorated with bands of enamel and carved flowers. These are fixed. At one end is a dog clip. At the other is a bolt ring and also a matching gold and enamel pocket watch key. The key has the same enamel and raised floral detailing. It did have a Breguet ratchet mechanism but this is siezed
The key measures 27mm x 8mm and is a size 0. The key is in 90% mint condition and the chain is in 95% mint condition – a small split on the seam of one of the balls
