This English silver fob is in the form of an envelope with a hinged flap and was made for storing postage stamps.
The fob has clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1906
The case has a smooth plain finish and curiously is engraved “Lobster” on the back. it has a suspension loop so it can be attached to a watch chain or chatelaine.
The fob measures 29mm x 22mm x 3.5mm and is in 85% mint condition – some small bruises and dents
