This is an early white metal swivel fob which has a beautiful carved handle with suspension loop topped with a small finial. In the middle of the handle is a rod decorated with a rope twist pattern. By pulling upwards on this rod it releases the catching pin on the swivel below. The oval swivel is in a white metal frame. The swivel has an opaque white stone decorated with an intaglio of a fire breathing dragon – not sure if it is a Hungarian Horntail, Norwegian Ridgeback or Drogon . The swivel can rotate a full 360 degrees and can then be locked back in position with the sprung rod and pin. The fob measures 47mm long x 32mm wide x 4mm deep. The fob is in 95% mint condition
