This seal has a base carved with an intaglio and was designed to be used with hot wax for sealing letters.

I have made an impression of this seal using hot wax to show that the seal works as intended and also to give a clearer image of the intaglio.

The wax impression comes in a small plastic case and is included with the seal

This small gilt metal seal has a rectangular base set with a glass stone with a claw setting and is engraved with the side portrait of a man and the name "ALBERT"

The seal has an ornately carved base and handle and is topped with a suspension loop.

The seal measures 24mm x 17mm x 14mm and is in 75% mint condition –it has lost its gilding making the shank a dull colour
