This is seal was designed to be used with hot wax for sealing letters.
I have made an impression of this seal using hot wax to show that the seal works as intended and also to give a clearer image of the intaglio.
The wax impression comes in a small plastic case and is included with the seal.
This is a gold metal seal – not solid gold
This is a smaller sized seal
The seal has an ornately carved base and strut handle and a suspension loop.
This seal is set with a carved green blood stone
This is engraved with the line “Deeds not Words
The seal measures 22mm x 13mm x 10mm and is in 95% mint condition – light wear
It comes with a small gold coloured ring attached to the suspension loop – this can be removed on request
