This is a very unusual piece and I presume would have hung from a chatelaine
The gilt metal scissor holder is in the shape of a sword with applied filigree detailing and engraving
The scissors can be removed from the case and have a steel wire work handle. When removed the scissors are sprung so jump into their open position
The whole piece measures 86mm x 34mm x 7mm
It is attached to a length of gilt metal chain
The whole piece is in 95% mint condition
