This watch key has a seal base was designed to be used with hot wax for sealing letters.
I have made an impression of this seal using hot wax to show that the seal works as intended and also to give a clearer image of the intaglio.
The wax impression comes in a small plastic case and is included with the seal.
This is a lovely top quality key which is made from solid 18K gold but does not have any assay marks

The long key has a shield shaped base set with a bloodstone.
This is carved with an intaglio of a Stork
The key is decorated with bright cut engraving and has a suspension loop mid way down the key.
The winding pipe is metal with a gold coloured cover and is a size 00
The key measures 37mm long x 9mm x 10mm on the base
The key is in 95% mint condition – superb condition throughout
