Movement – this is a good quality nickel full plate movement which has a lever escapement, a micrometer regulator and 17 Jewels. The movement has two tone damascening and raised gold jewel settings. The movement is signed “Columbus Watch Co, Columbia, Ohio, Adjusted” # 122463
The movement is in 90% mint condition – some small spots and marks and also the tail part and part of the whiplash of the regulator are missing
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated hunter case, which has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The case has coin edged sides with floral engraving on one side and similar engraving with a pastoral scene on the back. The front cover pops open to 45 degrees when you press the winder in. The case is in 90% mint condition – some general wear and the bow is brassy
Dial – the original white enamel dial is double sunk and has superb blue steel filigree hands. The dial is signed Columbus Watch Co” and is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch is stem wound / lever set
The watch measures 54mm wide x 18mm deep
