The watch is a smaller size than a Gents size being an American 8 size – 41mm wide
Please note that although this watch has been cleaned and serviced, timekeeping is to about 15 minutes a day.
Movement – the ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “American Waltham Watch Co” # 5925749. The movement is in 90% mint condition – light marks
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated Hunter case by The Crescent Watch Case company. The case has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The front cover pops open to 90 degrees when you press the winder in. inside the back cover is the original case paper signed and numbered 621774 – the same serial number as the case. The case is decorated with richly chased sides and has four colour gold decoration on both sides in rose, white, yellow and green gold. The front cover has a raised pink gold shield surrounded by flowers. The back has sweet bird with additional flowers. The case is in 95% mint condition – ultra light wear only, overall in in superb condition.
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is decorated with pink enamel border with gold enamel leaves and emerald green points, The outer track of the dial has additional silver and ruby red enamel detailing, The dial is signed “American Waltham”. The dial is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 41mm wide x 13mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
The watch comes in a super plush leather case with raised feet and which is lined with silk and velvet and has a raised cushioned area for the watch. The box is signed “Waltham” and is in superb condition.
