This is a pocket watch movement was made by Waltham, USA for the English market. It was sent to England where it was cased and sold in a top quality Dennison case.
Movement – the ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and a micrometer regulator, plus gold train wheels and raised gold jewel settings with gold coloured screws. The movement is signed “AWWCo, Waltham, Mass, Riverside, 17 Jewels, Adj” #16098340. The movement is decorated with two tone damascening and is in 100% mint condition – as new condition
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated Hunter case by Dennison. The case has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The front cover pops crisply open to 90 degrees when you press the winder in. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – the bow has been replaced with a silver example and there are traces of metal showing on the stem with some light scratches and marks on the back and front.
Dial – the white enamel dial has a pair of gilt hands and a blue steel sub seconds hands. The dial is signed “Waltham”. The dial is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a synthetic glass

The watch is stem wound / stem set
