This is a Swiss pocket watch with an 8 day mainspring and was made circa 1910

This is a true Hebdomas as it is signed Hebdomas as this style of watch has become synonymous with the brand name no matter who produced it. These watches are notoriously un predictable due to the length of the mainspring. This watch has been cleaned and serviced and is keeping excellent time over a long duration. Under no circumstances must the back cover be removed as the spring would then unfurl and be impossible to put back correctly

Movement – the mainspring cover is signed “Lever Interchangeable, 8 Days, Visible Escapement, Spiral Breguet Guaranteed”. The cover is also engraved with a series of medals for prizes won by Hebdomas.

Case – the movement comes in a silver full hunter case, which has a hinged back and front and is stamped 925 for silver. The front cover pops open crisply to 90 degrees when you press the winder in. The case is decorated with engine turning and is in 80% mint condition – small bruises and dents on the side of the case and a few marks on the back cover but still very presentable

Dial – the blue and white enamel dial has an exposed balance and regulator and is decorated with silver and gold flowers. The dial has a pair of gilt hands and is signed “Hebdomas Patent, 8 Days, Swiss Made”. The dial is in 100% mint condition

The watch has a mineral glass

The watch measures 51mm wide x 15mm deep

The watch is stem wound / pin set.

The watch comes in a period leather box lined with velvet and silk
