This is pocket watch has an English made movement and an English case. The English silver case has hallmarks for Birmingham 1903
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “Warranted English” 70811. The movement is in 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in an English silver open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The front cover pops opens to 45 degrees when you press the winder in, you then lift the cover to the full 90 degrees. The case is decorated with engine turning and a vacant crest on the front. The case is in 95% mint condition – some very small marks only
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands. The dial is signed “John Edmond, Dunedin” and is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a fine synthetic glass which looks and feels like a mineral glass
The watch measures 51mm wide x 14mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
